thinking about the allay minecraft mob. i didn't vote for it back then because it didn't feel very "minecraft-y", but i still like it a lot.
thinking about revivebur with an allay hybrid s/o who is constantly collecting tiny trinkets and handing them to him--- making them into pins for his sweater and jacket (so he can cover up the stitches/scar, if you hc him to have that), tying them into his hair or around his wrists, adding them to his glasses, slipping them into his pockets.
it can be marbles, ribbons of old colorful cloth, cool bottlecaps fashioned into badges, wires twisted to have shapes of birds or trees or hearts, leaves and flowers that they quickly replace as soon as the die, some pretty string adorned with wooden beads hanging from his glasses.
Also thinking about how allay's are drawn to music blocks and jukeboxes.
MAYBE the reader knew ghostbur at the time, and was vaguely friendly with them (allays are blue, and ghostbur had a music store). Maybe they mistook Wilbur for Ghostbur upon first meeting him, and he was immediately stand-offish. He warmed up to the allay eventually though.
Another possible meeting scenario is the reader finding Wilbur when he was trying out his guitar, practicing in some abandoned village and trying to regain some of his old talent.
Also, there's the thing that if an allay is given an amethyst shard while doing the dancing animation, they duplicate.
Now, the reader won't undergo mitosis if Wilbur gives them an amethyst shard (dancing/jukebox not needed), but they might grab his face and impulsively give him a big smooch
definitely a gift-giving love language, but instead of extravagant gifts it's little trinkets that are randomly handed to each other without much context, without even pausing the conversation.
Just hand the other a shiny rock, and continue as if nothing happened.
Speaking of extravagance, Wilbur initially tried to make all these grand gestures and stressed over what to give them (insecurity go brrr) before the reader assured him that he didn't need to make the gifts fancy for them to be appreciated. just give them some pretty seashells and they're happy
i may be expanding these headcanons and make them into an actual post for my blog but there's a part three of another revivebur series that i've been working on since march and i really need to finish it
this is SO cute holy shit. i fucking love this idea. i know so little about the allay mob bc its so new and i havent played mc in months, but i fucking love this idea. the reader just bringing him lil trinkets, lil things and lil gifts.
gift giving love language is SO fucking cute and i absolutely adore it. wilbur would be so nervous abt giving a gift because he wants to make sure its good!!! he wants it to be something good and worth it, but reader is just like. you could give me a penny you found on the ground, and that alone would be enough for me. it is the sentiment
i feel like the idea that its about the meaning not the object is also something that wilbur needs to focus on, learning that sometimes its the actions not the words, sometimes its the idea and not the material form, etcetc
i also really adore this bc it reminds me so much of crows who will often bring trinkets in exchange for food :3

Good to know, Gluttony will try to get more hissy-static snacks with extra oil for next time.
They might try to tug on the ribbons to try and get their attention since Blue Moon is so big, but if it hurts, they won't do it again. They are curious and confused, but not malicious.
Gore and Glory might be interested in sparring, well probably closer to play fighting or wrestling. Most of the family are similar heights to each other except for Chaos, who isn't available as often to play, so a bigger playmate would be a delight for them. The other set of twins; Wrath and Sloth, the original Blood Moons of this dimension, might also come by to see Blue Moon.
If I remember correctly, the lore relating to Ghosty was tf crew draining his magic which is what killed him. Ghosty managed to escape but was very weak, on the brink of fading/double dying due to the magic drain. Gluttony found him, healed what he could, and then got Lord Night to come and stabilize Ghosty. I would guess Blue Moon could see Ghosty while in the rle dimension, unless Ghosty is trying to hide. idk the normal ghost rules don't always seem to apply to him, possibly because of how he 'died'.
Chaos is a gentle giant, especially with Void. Gluttony can vouch for that. All four Blood Moons would probably vouch for it, though the words might be different. (W/S: He will not truly fight us. As angry or as mighty as he seems, he won't ever go for the kill). Chaos is a shield and the very last line of defense. If actual fighting begins, Chaos grabs all the 'babies'* and protects them with his life.
Also if Blue Moon asked, someone might be willing to tell him where the dimension is, but the rule is they would have to leave shtf Sun alive to take care of the dimension after the other two are killed. Or the family might have already killed the bad 2/3 of the lordship. The actual 'ending' hasn't been determined yet, rle family is merciful to a extent.
(you: intelligent words, me: brain go brrr) Put a little magic in, get some growth out. Put a little too magic in, that flower has a mouth.
*babies refers to anyone incapable of fighting, whether it's because of age like with the human kids or lack of skill like Glitter or trauma like Kitten and Void
How would gluttony react to Blue Moon. Especially since he's going to be aggressive towards envy.
I'm not sure which would be more amusing, if he met Blue Moon before or after Chaos did. Because on one hand, oh a friend of Chaos', he is a good judge of character usually. Usually (he made friends with a shtf Sun) Or I guess knowing Night is okay with him. If Gluttony has heard positive things about Blue Moon, he is more likely to overlook any hiccups. Actually learning Blue Moon rescued a trapped and a traveler would already get him a gold star.
Gluttony can definitely understand a lot of people are not fans of Eclipses; Envy was never a saint, but he apologized and became a better brother so he is a rare good one.
He will try to keep them separate, I'm not sure if Blue Moon has a Eclipse radar or anything but keeping them on opposite sides of the castle will hopefully be fine.
Gluttony would also probably be interested by Blue Moon's rune magic. He is a excellent spell caster so knowing another adept, especially one of a foreign type of magic would be delightful to him.

The Lost Princess Chapter 19
Warnings: fluff/angst

Tumblr media
(I’m crying at this!😂)
Sora and the others left Atlantica and headed back to the gummi ship and flew around the worlds.
“I think my magic is as good as Donald’s now. Maybe it’ll be stronger than (Y/N)’s,” Sora said.
“No way! Not in a million years,” Donald said.
“Why don’t you go see Merlin? Work more on your magic,” Goofy said. They traveled to Merlin’s Study and spoke to him after training with him a bit.
“You’re making excellent progress. Here’s something for your effort,” Merlin said as he gave Sora a keychain.
“Keep it up,” he said. Sora decided to return to the 100 Acre Wood with another torn page. He entered, finding a swing hanging from a stout tree near a river. He saw Pooh and Piglet on the bridge overlooking the river.
“Look, Pooh. Something is floating this way,” Piglet said.
“I think you’re right, Piglet. What could it be?” Pooh said. A gray donkey floated slowly along the current of the river, a glum expression on its face.
“Why, it looks like Eeyore! Hello, Eeyore, if it is you,” Pooh said as he waved while Eeyore floated towards them.
“Hello, Pooh. Yes, it’s me. Could you pull me out? That is, if it’s not too much trouble. Of course, you don’t have to if you don’t want to,” Eeyore said. He drifted under the bridge and Sora jumped in to get him. They met on the riverbank with Pooh and Piglet.
“Thank you, Pooh. Thank you, other you. You know, floating along out there, it seemed like something was missing...” Eeyore said. Suddenly, Piglet and behind Eeyore.
“And something’s still missing,” Eeyore said.
“Why, Eeyore’s tail is gone! Is that what’s missing?” Piglet said. Eeyore looked behind him and saw that he had no tail.
“Let’s see... Yep, lost it again. Wonder where it went this time. It’s not much of a tail, though I’m sort of attached to it. But I don’t know why anybody’d look for it. Probably won’t find it anyway...” he said.
“Sora, why don’t we all look for Eeyore’s tail?” Pooh asked.
“Lost something?” Owl asked as he flew in from above.
“Searching from a high place is the quickest way to find it!” he said.
“Owl, can you fly up high and help us find Eeyore’s tail?” Sora asked.
“Sorry, but my eyes aren’t what they used to be. Too much reading, you know. But I can offer good advice! Of course, you don’t have to if you don’t want to. See that swing up there? Take Pooh there.” He motioned toward the tree at the top of a hill.
“You’re a bit too big for the swing, but Pooh should fit nicely. I’ll tell you more when you get there,” he said as he flies away. Sora lead Pooh up the hill to the swing, where Owl was perched on the branch above them. Pooh got on the swing.
“Here’s what to do. First, get ready to push,” Owl said.
“How?” Sora asked.
“Like this.” Owl demonstrated how to push the swing.
“Like this?“ Sora asked as he pushed the swing gently.
“Not bad, not bad! Here’s the next step. If you time it right, Pooh will swing higher and higher. Try it! Push too soon, Pooh won’t go any higher. Push too late, he’ll go too high,” Owl said. With Owl’s help, Sora pushed Pooh on the swing, tossing him into the air so he can search for Eeyore’s tail from high above. He landed right in front of Rabbit on a house made of sticks, knocking Eeyore over. Pooh stood up and Eeyore saw something under the pile of sticks
“Hm? That looks familiar...” he said. Sora helped repin Eeyore’s tail onto him.
“How’s it looking?” Pooh asked.
“There we go,” Sora said. Eeyore swung his tail around.
“It’s not much of a tail, but it’s mine. Thanks, everyone,” he said.
“I wish we could put the Hundred Acre Wood back the way it was, too!” Pooh said. Owl sat on the branch of the tree, waving a wing. Pooh’s words made Sora more determined to find the rest of the book’s torn pages. Sora left the hill and found Pooh at his house, sitting on a log outside.
“Brrr! I think I spend too much time on the swing,” he said as he shivered. Sora targeted the pile of sticks in front of them and ignited them into a small fire and Pooh extended his hands to warm them.
“Thank you, Sora. This is nice and warm. You’ve helped us so much. This is just something to say thank you,” he said. Pooh hopped off the log and gave Sora a Mythril stone.
Sora left the 100 Acre Wood and the three traveled to a dark world filled with pumpkins and ghosts. Donald changed their outfits so they blended in with the eerie scenery.
“This sure is a spooky place. I’ll bet the people here are scary- lookin’ too,” Goofy said.
“Don’t worry. We look spooky, too. If they scare us, we’ll scare them right back!” Donald said.
“You think so?” They entered the Town Square and an explosion went off in a nearby laboratory, sending smoke into the air. They saw a group of Search Ghost Heartless in town, but they don’t attacked. Sora made his way over to the laboratory when they heard a booming voice.
“And now, allow me to introduce...” someone said. They looked over to see a short man in an extremely tall hat speaking through a megaphone. He wore a spider as a bow tie and a ribbon reading “Mayor” was attached to his business suit. From their angle, it looked like he had a second face behind his head.
“The master of terror... the king of nightmares—Jack Skellington!” the Mayor said. The line of Search Ghosts parted as they presented the fountain in the middle of the square, where a tall, thin figure was emerging from the green water. He had a black and white striped outfit and long bony fingers. His head was naught but a skull; behind his eyes, only blackness. He striked a pose and smiled, and the Mayor ran over to him.
“Bravo, Jack! Bravo! Those ghosts will be a big hit at this year’s Halloween!” the Mayor said. The Mayor grinned wildly as Jack stepped out from the fountain.
“Thank you, thank you! But their movement still needs work. It’s not scary enough,” Jack said. He hung his head.
“I want to strike bone-chilling terror,” he said. He lifted his arms in a creepy pose, and the Mayor backed up.
“I’m going to consult the doctor,” Jack said. He stood up and walked to the laboratory.
“Then I’ll go attend to the decorations,” Mayor said. He ran away gleefully. So gleefully, in fact, that he ran in the wrong direction and has to turn around. Sora, Donald, and Goofy followed Jack to Doctor Finkelstein’s research lab, where the doctor was inspecting the Heartless on the examination table from the comfort of his wheelchair. The various machines on the walls gurgled and hissed.
“I don’t understand. Maybe the guidance system was damaged in the explosion,” Jack said.
“Nonsense. My devices are always perfect!” Finkelstein said. Jack searched through the doctor’s research book.
“Oh, I’ve got it! Why, of course! The Heartless need a heart! Doctor, do you think we can add a heart to that device?” he said.
“Certainly. A heart’s not all that complicated,” Finkelstein said. He rode his motorized wheelchair to the end of the table.
“Let’s get to work,” he said.
“To make a heart, first take a container with a lock...” Jack read. The doctor pulled out a pulsing box shaped like a human heart with a large keyhole on it
“We need the key to this thing first!” Finkelstein said.
“You’re really gonna unlock it for them?” Donald asked.
“Why not? If they succeed, we won’t have to fight the Heartless, right? Besides, I want to see the Heartless dance, too. Don’t you?” Sora asked.
“Not really.” Sora unlocked the heart for them.
“My! That was amazing! Uh, and you are...” Jack said. He cocked his head to the side.
“Sora.” Jack walked up to him.
“Well done, Sora! I’d like you to be a part of this year’s Halloween,” Jack said.
“What’s this Heartless doing here?” Sora asked.
“Oh, the Heartless came to town just recently. What’s frustrating is I can’t get them to dance with me. So the doctor and I are trying to improve the guidance system. He’s quite a genius! Okay, Doctor, let’s continue. The ingredients for a heart: Pulse.” A pulsing frog was placed on the table.
“Emotion,” Jack said.
“Terror,” Finkelstein said.
“Fear.” The doctor’s hand slid off a pane of glass on the table, making an eerie screech.
“Hope and despair,” Jack said. Two snakes, with their mouths over each other’s tails, were placed on the table and they glanced at one another.
“Mix them all together, and we have a heart!” Jack said. The doctor completed this and placed the heart into the console of the machine. He wheeled over to a large lever and initiated the experiment. The machine sparked to life, gears clicking and whirling. Electricity crackled over the Heartless, who suddenly sat up with its arms outstretched, before falling limp.
“It failed!” Finkelstein said. Jack looked disappointed and the doctor peered over his research book.
“Maybe we’re missing some ingredients. Let’s try adding memory,” Finkelstein said. The doctor opened his skullcap and literally scratched his brain.
“Sally! Sally! Good-for-nothing girl! Don’t know why I bothered creating her!” he said. He slammed his fists on the arms of his wheelchair and closed his skull. He whirled around to face Sora and his friends.
“Sally’s got the memory we need. See if you can track her down,” he said.
“No problem. Sora, would you like to come along?” Jack said.
“Sure,” Sora said. They left the laboratory and saw the Mayor at the bottom of the stairs, his unhappy face on.
“Jack! Jack! We have a major crisis! The Heartless are completely out of control! We can’t stop them!” Mayor yelled into his microphone.
“Hmm... Maybe our experiment triggered something. Everything will be fine, Mayor. You have nothing to worry about,” Jack said. Donald tapped his foot, looking in Jack’s direction. They entered Guillotine Plaza and fought a group of Heartless before entering the Graveyard.
“Let’s check this place, too, once the Heartless here are out of our way,” Sora said. They defeated the Heartless in the Graveyard and a ghostly dog with a glowing pumpkin for a nose, rose out of his doghouse grave and Jack walked up to him.
“Zero! Have you seen Sally anywhere?” he said. Zero flew over to a gravestone, startling the person behind it. A rag doll with long hair stood up and looked over at them, the stitches covering her body clearly visible.
“Is something wrong, Jack?” she asked.
“No, everything’s going great. We’re going to have the best Halloween ever. All we need now is your memory,” Jack said, excitedly.
“‘Memory?’ You mean this?” She pulled out a gnarled flower. She gave the Forget-Me-Not to Jack, who stared at it curiously.
“Jack, I have a bad feeling about this. Why don’t you try something else? There’s still time,” Sally said.
“Nothing could beat what I’ve got planned!” Jack said as he spun around to face her.
“Once we give the Heartless a heart, they’ll dance just as I envision it,” he said but Sally looked worried.
“Trust me. You’re going to love it!” he said. Sora started talking to Sally.
“I have a bad feeling about this. If only Jack would reconsider... I’m happy if he’s happy, but I’m just so worried about him. I’m worried about him because I...well, I just am. Jack, why not have these kids star in the festival instead? They both look rather frightful. And funny, too. They’d be better than the Heartless,” Sally said. Sora, Donald, Goofy, and Jack left the Graveyard, with Sally following. From a coffin near the end of the graveyard, laughter erupted before the lid flew open. Three little imps jumped out dressed like a devil, witch, and skeleton, respectively. They wore masks on their faces because they liked it.
“Lock!”
“Shock!”
“Barrel!” The little imps huddled together.
“Did you hear that?” Barrel asked.
“Yeah, I sure did! A heart! What should we do?” Lock said.
“Gosh, you really are stupid! Isn’t it obvious?” Shock said.
“Tell Oogie Boogie,” Barrel said and the of them laughed. Sora and company returned to Dr. Finkelstein’s Lab and gave him the “memory”.
“Yes. This is it. Now, just one more ingredient. We need “surprise” to complete the heart. The mayor should know where it is,” Finkelstein said. Meanwhile, Lock, Shock, and Barrel were trembling in the presence of a laughing monster named Oogie Boogie. He had the appearance of a burlap sack tied together with thread. Two holes for the eyes curved evilly, giving him a nightmarish look. His hands and feet ended in points, rather than fingers, and an opening in the cloth was stitched together for the mouth.
“A heart? That bonehead Jack is really making a heart? I’ll be jiggered! That works for me!” he smiled.
“Ohh, when I get my hands on that...” He looked at his pointed extremities.
“Well, I’ve got no hands, but I’m still gonna nab that heart and control the Heartless,” he cackled powerfully. Sora, Donald, Goofy and Jack found the Mayor in the Boneyard near a giant pumpkin and talked to him.
“Ghost rise from those tombstones. Check the tombstones in the order the ghosts appear. If you get it wrong, you’re in for a surprise!” Mayor said. He pointed to a nearby group of gravestones, where they saw three ghosts rising from various ones and vanishing. They picked the correct ones and there was an explosion behind them.
“Splendid! Now go look at the pumpkin,” Mayor said. They turned around to see the pumpkin destroyed with a treasure chest inside. They opened it and took out a Jack-in-the-Box. They returned to Dr. Finkelstein’s Lab and gave him the Jack-in-the-Box.
“Yes. This is it,” he said. The doctor assembled the ingredients into the heart.
“There you go. This time it’s sure to work,” he said. He wheeled over with the heart on his lap, when Barrel jumped out from under his research table, tripping him over.
“Ya!” Barrel said. Finkelstein yelled as he fell out of his chair, causing the heart to bounce over the table and into Lock’s arms. The doctor growled, shaking a gloved fist at them. Lock snickered and the three escaped.
“The nerve of those little hooligans, stealing my work!” Finkelstein said. Sora, Donald, Goofy, and Jack raced after the trio to Guillotine Square.
“We lost them!” Sora said. Jack tapped a hand on his leg, calling Zero over to him.
“Zero, after them, quick!” he said. Zero flew towards the Graveyard to Moonlight Hill, where a large curled hill unfurled, making a pathway to a bridge. Lock, Shock, and Barrel rode in a walking bathtub over the hill. Sora and company arrived and defeated the Heartless in the area. They found a hidden switch in a gravestone, which unfurled the hill for them and they walked across to the bridge to Oogie’s Manor, where the bathtub was approaching a wooden bridge. Sora, Donald, Goofy, and Jack ran in.
“I knew Oogie Boogie was behind this!” Jack said. They stared up towards the twisted mansion. They made their way up the mansion, fighting Heartless until they found the topmost room. They entered the Evil Playroom to find Lock, Shock, and Barrel tossing the heart down a shaft. They whirled around when they entered. Sora and company subdued the three imps and forced them to talk.
“We were just following orders! Oogie Boogie told us to steal the heart. It’s all Barrels fault! It was his idea to tell Oogie Boogie about the heart,” Shock said.
“Yeah, that’s right!” Lock said.
“B-But you guys said—” Barrel said.
“You should be ashamed!” Shock said.
“Oogie Boogie made us do it. We had no choice,” Lock said.
“Oogie Boogie told us not to give away his hiding place. Oh, and we’re not supposed to talk about the lever, either,” Barrel said. Sora activated a lever on a control panel and geared in the wall begin to spin.
“What’s he going to do with the heart? Beats me. I’d stay away from Oogie Boogie if I were you,” Barrel said.
“Hey, I was just following Oogie Boogie’s orders! We don’t have the heart! Oogie Boogie has it!” Shock said.
“There’s no way I’m gonna take you to him! If I did that, Oogie Boogie would eat us too,” Lock said.
“You’ll never find the green door!” They made their way down to Oogie’s Torture Chamber, which looked like a giant roulette wheel. They ran in and found Oogie Boogie with the heart.
“Oogie Boogie, give me back the heart!” Jack said.
“You want it? Well, then come on over and get it!” Oogie Boogie said. He put the heart in his mouth and swallowed it to everyone’s surprise. He began cackling.
“Now, let’s see if I can get their attention. Oh, Heartless!” he said. Two Gargoyle Heartless appeared behind him.
“This is it?” he asked as he started to get angry.
“Nobody disrespects me! Nobody!” he yelled. He pulled a switch causing an explosion from behind Sora and company, knocking them into the pit of the roulette wheel. The Heartless flew down and attacked them, but they were quickly defeated.
“C’mon, baby!” Oogie said. Him, being a gambling man, threw exploding dice into the pit, but they dodged out of the way. Sora activated a switch that raised his section of the pit, allowing him access to the boogeyman. Sora held a hand to his chest and raised his Keyblade, which lit up and a bubble dropped down from above. The bubble popped, revealing a young elephant with enormous ears. Sora jumped onto Dumbo, grabbing onto the elephant’s hat. Dumbo flew into the air with his huge ears and sprayed a torrent of water at Oogie Boogie. Once the boogeyman had enough of this, he activated an explosion. Dumbo disappeared and Sora was sent back into the pit. Donald attempted to strike Oogie from below with Thunder and Gravity spells.
“This would be a lot easier if (Y/N) was here,” Donald said.
“Agreed,” Sora said.
“Buzzsaw!” Oogie said. A spinning saw blade whirled past Sora, nearly slicing him in half. The roulette wheel began spinning around, sending Sora, Donald, and Goofy in front of three slot machines.
“Bone Soldiers!” Oogie said. The eyes of the slot machines glowed and they raised their pistols, shooting at the three of them. They jumped out of the way onto another button that sent all four of them upward to face Oogie. They attacked Oogie Boogie with everything they had, causing the villain’s burlap sack to open and a swarm of squirming bugs to fall all over the floor. Oogie Boogie screamed before the sack fell motionless with the heart still inside as a final blue bug crawled out of it. It landed on its back, squirming on the floor of the pit.
“So, that heart was a failure after all,” Jack said. They left Oogie’s Manor, crossing the wooden bridge back to the ridge they entered from, when a large explosion occurred behind them, sending everyone off balance.
“Huh?” Jack asked. Dust billowed out from the mansion and they heard Oogie Boogie moaning. When the dust settled, they saw his body overtaking the house, covered in orb of darkness.
“Whoa! How did he get so big?” Sora said.
“Look! It’s brimming with the power of darkness! Oogie Boogie is drawing power from those dark globs!” Jack said.
“So we just have to destroy those things, right?” The four jumped down as the bridge was now destroyed and made their way up the living mansion, destroying the dark orbs in their path. After the final one was taken out, the mansion quaked and crumbled to the ground. In its place a giant Keyhole appeared. Sora sent a beam of light into the air, which broke up and fell on the Keyhole, locking it. They returned to Dr. Finkelstein’s Lab, where Sally was waiting for them.
“Sally, why didn’t I listen to you?” Jack asked.
“Don’t feel bad, Jack. We’ll come up with another plan for Halloween. Next time, we’ll do it together,” Sally said. They held hands and stared into each other’s eyes. Sora, Donald, and Goofy then spoke to Jack.
“I guess we have no choice. We’ll have to cancel the Heartless Halloween festival for now. Here, I want you to have this,” Jack said. He then gives Sora a keychain.
“Visit us any time, Sora. Next year’s Halloween will be the scariest ever!” he said. The doctor was rereading his research book, thinking out loud.
“Emotion, memory... We put in all the necessary ingredients. What else do you need to make a heart? What is a heart, anyway? I can’t figure it out,” he said.
~~~~
You were sitting in front of the door, having more of your power radiating off of you while having your arms tied up like a puppet.
“How much longer till we’re ready?” Maleficent asked.
“Almost,” Riku said.
“Excellent.” She then walked away leaving Riku alone with you. He walked up to you and cupped your cheek.
“Why are you doing this?” you asked, weakly.
“You’ll find out soon enough,” he said. You started to cry and Riku wiped your tears away with his thumb.
“Shh, don’t cry. It’ll all be over soon,” he said. He stood up and walked away, leaving you by yourself.
“Sora...please help me,” you said.
To be continued...
Chapter 26 - SBT
Here it is!
"And there we go. Darts are back to full."
Mundy put them aside. He had worked all morning in the back of his campervan on making more ammunition for when he would go to the old sugar factory up North. He wasn't sure when was the best time to go or what he should expect.
"Guess there's one way to find out."
He exited the back of his van and jumped at the front.
"Right, let's go."
The hunter started the engine and drove away from the lake. A bit under an hour later, he found himself in the dirtiest neighbourhood of town. The sound of his heeled boots resonated on the pavement. Kids ran past him and Mundy watched as people were coming and going. He passed the alley that Maurice had taken him through a few weeks ago, and as it was lunchtime, he saw the poorest souls of the city lining up for some warm soup.
"Speaking of the devil..."
He stopped and turned at the familiar voice.
"Ah, Maurice. I was lookin' for you."
The beggar was exiting a house on the side.
"Just in time." Maurice said.
"Oh, you were lookin' for me too?"
"Not exactly, but how can I help?"
"I got a few things to ask you." Mundy answered.
"Then let us go in." Maurice opened the door to that same house again. "After you."
A few minutes later, the hunter and the beggar were sitting underground.
"Go ahead." Maurice said as both took a seat.
"First things first, how's Eric?" Mundy asked. As he recalled the events, he had brought the poor man to Maurice in the early hours of the morning that day.
"Him and his family are safe, he is out of Duchemin's sight too, don't worry."
"Ah, that's good to know, thanks mate."
"His thigh is much better too. The doctor said that it would be a matter of days and he might even not have a scar after a few months."
"Perfect."
"But tell me, Mundy, did you manage to get the animals you were after?"
"Well, I went to get the 'gators."
"Did you find them?"
"I did, yeah. I found them and a few extra corcs that belong to the West reserve."
"Ah, congratulations then. You must feel proud."
"Yeah, well…" Mundy seemed hesitant.
"Ah, I see. You will be truly satisfied when you retrieve all of the animals, hm?"
Mundy bobbed his head left and right.
"Yes and no. When I went to get the alligators there was a bloke there. He wasn't Duchemin's."
"Ah." Maurice faked his surprise.
"Turns out he wasn't in for the alligators, but for Duchemin himself."
"Hm-mh." Maurice nodded.
"You know the bloke?"
"I might. Was he very well dressed, suit and tie? Expensive Italian shoes?"
"I didn't pay attention to his shoes, but yeah he was wearing a suit and tie, and a weird ski mask."
Maurice's bushy eyebrows jumped.
"A man of tradition he is…" He mumbled to himself.
"So you do know him?"
"I used to, yes. Now, I am not so sure. More than a decade flashed between then and now..." Maurice raised his eyes to Mundy. He wanted that sentence to echo in him. The hunter looked away for a second. Without saying it, Maurice was really saying that it was the same for Mundy. More than a decade flashed between then and now...
"Who is he? What is he?" The Aussie finally broke the short silence that weighed a lot, strangely enough.
"Ah, well, those questions both require long answers. What did he tell you about himself?" Maurice couldn't hold back a smile. He was literally quoting himself from his conversation with Lucien.
"Well, I don't know. But the bloke sure knows how to fight. I saw him bounce off a wall and practically unscrew one of Duchemin's men's jaw with his foot while having his hands cuffed! Complete madness! And then he tortured Eric…! Put his tiny butter knife in his thigh and didn't think twice about it!"
Mundy paused to catch his breath. He removed his hat off his head and put it on the large oval table.
"And that's just what he does. When he speaks, he's colder than a snake, brrr!" Mundy shook his shoulders as shivers shot through his spine.
"What is your point?" Maurice asked.
"He wants Duchemin too." Mundy answered. "Does that make him an ally?"
"I don't know." Maurice answered. "Did he seem like one?"
"He helped. Well, he did save me from being shot behind that pillar…"
Maurice's lips pursed up in a smile.
"Why are you not telling me more about him?"
"Because that is none of my concern. I am merely here to provide the information I can to you."
"And to him, it seems, eh?"
"It does seem so."
"Why does he want Duchemin?" Mundy asked. "When he tortured that poor bloke to know where Duchemin was, he… He looked horribly insensitive. It's like he wasn't feeling an ounce of the pain that he was causing."
"He is very cold-blooded, indeed. That makes him extremely efficient."
Mundy frowned and nodded.
"Doesn't tell me why he wants Duchemin."
"For very different yet very similar reasons to you." Maurice answered.
"Pff…" Mundy smiled and rolled up his eyes. "You couldn't make less sense if you wanted."
"Is there something I can help you with?" Maurice asked to change the subject. Mundy raised his eyes to him and left them hanging there, from over his yellow sunglasses, before nodding.
"Yeah, the old sugar factory." Mundy started. "Apparently that's where Duchemin has the rest of the stolen beasts. I'd like to know how many and what sizes."
Maurice's eyebrows jumped.
"I see. Give me a few days and I will see what I can learn from there."
"Right. Anything I can do to repay the favour?" Mundy asked.
"Favour?" Maurice repeated. "What favour?"
"Your help. I'm not paying you, nor am I helping you out in any way. Maybe I can do something for you?"
Maurice chuckled gently.
"No, Mundy, nothing you can do."
"Well, let me know if there's anything I can do, eh?"
The Aussie grabbed his hat off the table and put it on his head as he stood up and headed for the door to leave.
"Actually, one thing, Mundy."
"Yeah?" He stopped sharp and turned.
"Take a break while I work on getting you some intelligence. You look like you could do with a quiet day, maybe two."
"Well, I… Thanks."
Both men nodded at each other and Mundy left.
-- Later that day --
Mundy was laying on top of his campervan, on the roof. His hat was covering his head as he napped there. The sandwich he got for lunch had put him to sleep very easily and all he had needed after that was a good nap next to the lake. The shy waves softly rolled to the shore and they repeated their languid motion until the hunter had fallen asleep.
He slowly opened his eyes and felt the sun cook him gently. He loved that feeling. All the warmth he wasn't getting from fellow humans, he got from the big day star that is the sun. Mundy pushed his hat away from his face and took a deep breath.
"Gosh…"
Maurice's words came back to him.
"You look like you could do with a quiet day, maybe two."
Mundy had been about to explain why he had big bags under his eyes. But decided against it.
It was the nightmares. They were unbearable as of late. He had wild visions. His parents, the farm, fire. Flames that devoured, consumed. His father with a rifle. His mother screaming. The pan of mac'n'cheese overflowing. Black. Red. Orange. Yellow.
Black again, silence, darkness. And his father's voice.
Crazed gunman.
No. He wasn't a crazed gunman. No, no! He treated nature with utmost respect, he… He did his best! He never killed for fun and he never accepted killing contracts! It was only scaring poachers away!
You should have stuck to playin' the saxophone, son. Honest job, honest pay.
But there was nothing dishonest about trying to save the wildlife! And if he didn't do it, who would? No one! Everyone cared about animals but never enough to actually get out there and save them! And Goddamn it! If only animals could speak, then we would hear their pain and anxiety as we burn and destroy their lands, as we hunt them for their very skins or their bones! Imagine! Being hunted for your skin!
Why don't you care about people? You could help the community out.
By doing what? I'm shit with people.
That's because you never really tried.
Yeah, I did, countless times. Dad, I… People are complicated. They lie, they're never straight and I never understand what they want with me…
The disappointment in his father's eyes screamed in his head louder than church bells. It was deafening and burning his eyes. Mundy looked the other way, his cheeks crimson. His father and him never understood each other. Never. And his mother? She tried, she was always particularly sensitive when it came to her son. But his father would always dismiss it, take it for a woman's weakness.
"Stop!"
Mundy roared as he put his hands on his ears and sat up in a flash. He breathed heavily and grasped his hair left and right.
"Nnh!"
He hated to hear it again, his father's disappointment. It ripped his heart apart. He wished he could explain himself to him more, maybe this time he would understand…? But no, there was no way. Apart from going to the cemetery and talking to a bit of stone, there was no way. And then Mundy thought about all the conversations he wouldn't have with his parents, the meals he didn't and wouldn't share, the chicken and geese of the farm that he dearly missed. But what pained him the most was of course, the words he would never hear his father and mother say…
Mundy got off his van's rooftop and slipped in his campervan. He put his hands in his pockets and saw the black suit that was hanging from the bed rails. It had been a bit more than a week now and he hadn't found it in himself to hang it back in his cupboard. Mundy stared at it silently for a moment. He sighed and felt something in his pocket again.
"What…? Ah."
First the suit. Now the leaflet. Stars were aligning.
-- Evening --
"Have you made your choice, Sir?"
"Ah, yeah, I'll take this chocolate dessert of yours."
"Anything else with that, Sir?"
"Uh, no, thanks."
The blue leathered menu went from naked hands that showed decades under the sun to white gloved ones, and the waiter disappeared, leaving the man with the ponytail in peace at his table.
Mundy quickly did the ribbon to tie his hair again before leaning back on his chair. He looked up and his eyes rolled up to the ceiling. Through the impressive chandeliers, he could see the paintings. Little plump angels playing some kind of ancien trumpets, clouds, golden streaks of paints that shone beautifully despite the age of the establishment; all that in a very light pink background that must have been much brighter a long, long time before.
Take a break, Maurice had said. Well, the van had decided that the best thing for Mundy was to come back to that filthy posh place that is the Queen Victoria. Mundy himself wasn't particularly up for it, neither was he strongly against it. He just didn't like that he had to wear a suit for it. Although, now that he thought about it, it wasn't as narrow as the last time he had put it on.
"Does this table suit you?"
"Oh, yeah, sure, thanks."
Mundy's daydream was broken by the voices of the people at the table in front of him, a young couple. The waiter pulled the chair for the girl to sit and gave them both menus before leaving.
"How did you manage to get us a table here?" The young man asked his girlfriend when the waiter was out of earshot.
"Oh, I have my ways…" She smirked.
"Do you?" He played along and she nodded, chuckling. "Nah, seriously tell me." He insisted.
"The bloke who sings." She said and Mundy's ears pricked up. "He's a client at work, and a friend. I made a bet with him and he owed me a table here."
"Woah… What was the bet?" The young man asked.
"He said he could be hired here and I didn't believe him. So I said to him that if he did get hired, then he'd owe me one dinner here."
"I see. Well, please do make more bets like these, eh. But uh, was the bet not to have dinner with him?"
Mundy half smiled. He could hear the young man's worries in the tone of his voice. He knew that the poor bloke feared that his sheila would have preferred to have dinner with that fancy singer.
"No, yes, I mean. Charlie, it's not what you think…" She said and put her hand on his. "You'll see him when he starts singing. He's old enough to be my dad…! No, he is just a friend, don't worry."
"Right… Otherwise I guess all I have left is to try and sing better than him, eh?"
Mundy smiled. He was happy for both of them but he wished that they really knew the amount of luck God had blessed them both with. Maybe they knew, surely they didn't, or at least they were too busy staring in each other's eyes to dwell on that thought too much. No, that could wait. Now was their time, the time of him and her.
"Your dessert, Sir."
The waiter's voice pulled Mundy's eyes from the couple in front to him to his own plate.
"Ah, thanks."
His eyes went one last time to the lovebirds table as he started eating the dessert. They were sitting left and right from the candle. The flame was dancing in balance at the equilibrium point in the middle of the invisible thread that held their gaze into one another. Mundy looked at the candle on his own table and raised his eyes. There was no one in the empty chair in front of him, he sighed.
"Ladies and gentlemen…!"
Mundy raised his head to the stage as the lights went down low. He put his spoon on his empty plate and listened carefully.
"Tonight, our dear Lulu and his orchestra have prepared something in his native tongue! Lulu? The floor is yours…!"
The thick red curtains slowly rolled left and right and there he was. Under a bright spotlight, wearing a dark blue suit this time. The light only showed him on a piano. He looked at the microphone and took a deep breath before starting. But he didn't sing, no, he spoke.
"I would like to dedicate this song to the half that I lost ten years ago now. She was… the light of my life, the one who brought peace to me, who made a man of me. I…" He raised his eyes. "C'est pour toi, mon amour."
[This one is for you, my love.]
Mundy couldn't even gulp down. The intensity, the force with which that man spoke…! The Aussie felt himself sink deeper in his chair. But what caught his ear was the accent. Now that he thought about it, it was very similar to that other French bloke.
The singer lowered his eyes to his fingers. He let them slowly sink on the keys in slow, mellow arpeggios. A sad song was coming, that was sure.
Hmm… Mundy liked it already.
{To the reader: this song is called "La Solitude" by Barbara}
"Je l'ai trouvée devant ma porte
[I found her at my doorstep]
Un soir, que je rentrais chez moi
[One evening, as I was coming back home]
Partout, elle me fait escorte
[Everywhere, she accompanies me]
Elle est revenue, elle est là
[She has come back, here she is]
La renifleuse des amours mortes
[She can smell dead loves]
Elle m'a suivie, pas à pas"
[She followed me, step after step]
Mundy wasn't understanding the lyrics but he could feel them because Music doesn't need to speak to be understood. No, she went beyond words and plucked on the Aussie's heartstrings directly.
"Elle nous fait le coeur à pleurer
[She makes us such that our hearts will cry]
Elle nous fait des matins blêmes
[She gives us pale mornings]
Et de longues nuits désolées
[And long, sad nights]
La garce ! Elle nous ferait même
[The bitch! She even makes]
L'hiver au plein coeur de l'été
[Winter come in the middle of summer]
The singer was handsome, sublime. He had that elegance, that charm that made everyone just hang on to his very lips, breathe when he did, hold their breath when he spoke, just to be sure to catch all of his music, his poetry, his heartbreak.
"Dans ta triste robe de moire
[In your sad, iridescent dress]
Avec tes cheveux mal peignés
[With your dishevelled hair]
T'as la mine du désespoir
[Your ugly mug that shows despair]
Tu n'es pas belle à regarder
[You are ugly to look at]
Allez, va t-en porter ailleurs
[Come on, go take away]
Ta triste gueule de l'ennui
[Your ugly mug that shows boredom]
Je n'ai pas le goût du malheur
[I don't want to taste your misfortune]
Va-t-en voir ailleurs si j'y suis."
[Go away and see if I'm somewhere else.]
His fingers were more confident and the singer looked away to catch his breath for an instant. Mundy didn't even realise but he himself was leaning back on his chair, his long legs were flowing in front of him and he had put one foot on the other. He was… relaxed. The music had soothed him, yeah, it had brought him some peace. But oh, what was that? The singer was now facing the microphone again, his brow was furrowed, his eyes screwed shut. It was hard to sing those words out of him.
"Je veux encore rouler des hanches
[I still want to roll my hips]
Je veux me saouler de printemps
[I want to get drunk on spring]
Je veux m'en payer, des nuits blanches
[I want to spend more sleepless nights]
A coeur qui bat, à coeur battant
[With my heart beating, my heart racing]
Avant que sonne l'heure blême
[Before the pale hour rings]
Et jusqu'à mon souffle dernier
[And until my last breath]
Je veux encore dire je t'aime
[I want to say I love you again]
Et vouloir mourir d'aimer"
[And want to die of love.]
Oh… Mundy thought he might actually have understood that. He couldn't really say but it was something in the way that the man in the impeccable suit and poetic hair was singing. There was the despair and frustration, the pain of the loss of a loved one that he wouldn't find ever again. The contradiction of knowing that this was certain, definitive, but still craving to wake up the next day and find that special person/people there.
"Depuis, elle me fait des nuits blanches
[Since then, she makes me spend sleepless nights]
Elle s'est pendue à mon cou
[She hangs herself around my neck]
Elle s'est enroulée à mes hanches
[She laced herself around my hips]
Elle se couche à mes genoux
[She sleeps on my lap]
Partout, elle me fait escorte
[Everywhere, she accompanies me]
Et elle me suit, pas à pas
[And she follows me, step after step]
Elle m'attend devant ma porte
[She waits for me at my own doorstep]
Elle est revenue, elle est là
[She has come back, she is here]
La Solitude, la Solitude"
[The Solitude, the Solitude]
Mundy's eyes snapped wide. The singer opened his eyes. Tears were running down his cheeks. He bit his lip and sniffed away from the microphone but Mundy saw it all and more importantly, the last words resonated in his head.
"The Solitude."
That same ungrateful mistress that had the Aussie chained to his van, the same that had him wander hopelessly in the desert for years, the same that had him surviving but not living; because she had starved him of his senses. She had stolen his nose and mouth to prevent him from tasting anything but the bitterness of the misery she put him through, she had stolen his eyes to make sure he would see no one else but her, like a jealous, overly possessive wife that nonetheless gladly cheats with the first man to come…
That singer, he had put words, sounds, music, on what Mundy's despair had been for the entire past decade. How…? Each sound he uttered broke both of them. The singer, and the spectator, the Frenchman and the Aussie, two worlds from continents that should never have met and yet, they did.
And who was to blame? That same insolent and perverse mistress. Solitude.
The singer finished the song with a solo on the piano. He spoke to the microphone all along.
"J'aimerais te revoir, un jour,
[I would like to see you again, one day]
Juste une fois,
[Just one more time,]
Un soir
[One night]
T'enlacer,
[To hold you in my arms,]
Fondre sous la chaleur de ton corps."
[Melt under the heat of your body.]
Mundy felt his throat shrink around a hot, unpleasant ball growing bigger and bigger, constricting his airway. He had been holding his breath, his fists were clenched like steel on his lap.
That man who was murmuring to the microphone had no idea what he was doing. He had no clue that there, in the crowd, there was a man in a black suit, and yellow tinted glasses; a fully grown man who had killed, gutted and eviscerated more creatures than all of the people around them. And yet, that man in the ponytail was clenching his jaw, gritting his teeth and contracting his core.
His eyes glistened under the candle.
                                            Christmas 2020
 I have to say, December is one of my favourite months probably because Christmas is in December and it’s my favourite holiday. I like it so much that I’m incredibly excited right now – just because I’m writing about it. 😛
Why would someone love Christmas? - I personally love the Christmas spirit.
The gifts, the holidays, the decorated trees, the songs & most of all, the snow *brrr*
I have a little bit of everything to include in this Christmas blog. A few things I want to speak on are Christmas Decorations, travelling at Christmas, Christmas Songs, Christmas Traditions, Christmas Movies, A Review of 2020 (Like what happened this year? Lessons learnt this year), How to find gifts on a tight budget and everything about the winter and snow.
Don’t get scared. This won’t be a long boring blog. Some of these topics, are topics that were requested and some that I just want to touch on. That is why I said “A Little Bit of This, A Little Bit of That) so now you understand. 😊
Remember, you can always send me a message directly or even to my email address. I answer every comment, feedback or questions.
Let’s begin!!
Tumblr media
Christmas Decorations
What are your favourite Christmas decorations and where can you get them?
Candles, Ribbons, Christmas Tree Ornaments, Wreaths and Garlands are some of my favourite Christmas decoration.
Tumblr media
I know for sure, if you are looking for personalized ornaments, you can go on the website Shutterfly; Zazzle, Personalization mall and Etsy. P.S. Shutterfly is having a sale; 50% off everything and an extra 20% if you use the code ‘SAVINGS’.
What do you think, do you have any of them? If you have them, send in photos and/or give your personal opinion on how good they are. Share some of your décor with us too 😊
 Travelling at Christmas: My Experience
Have you ever travelled for Christmas? – Before moving to Canada in 2016, I occasionally visited here and Florida.  My first experience in Canada during Christmas time, was experiencing the severe cold weather and snow. Of course, being a little child, seeing snow for the first time, was very exciting for me.
Going to Florida on the other hand, is almost like being back home, with their tropical sunny weather.
 Any experiences to share?
 Christmas Songs
A playlist with my favourite Christmas songs:
Mariah Carey - All I Want for Christmas Is You - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yXQViqx6GMY
Mariah Carey - O Holy Night - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BEJmP8T07JU
Justin Bieber – Mistletoe - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LUjn3RpkcKY
Chris Brown - This Christmas - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b9XNyeeJZ2k
Céline Dion - O Holy Night - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RsWUWzai8P8
 Christmas Traditions
My Christmas Tradition in my family, every year we decide on which family house, everyone will be meeting up for fun, games, dinner and music. Also, each family member cooks a different meat with maybe a different side, like two different salads, 2 different rice and those sorts of arrangements and then we have a huge variety of food to consume. Especially on holidays like Christmas and Thanksgiving, in my culture, we always walk with our to-go container (Our Lil Doggy bag) as there is always left overs. But I am pretty sure this is similar in most cultures.
 Christmas Movies
Tumblr media
When you start seeing Christmas movies start premiering, you know Christmas is near. Some of my favourite channels to watch Christmas movies on, are the channels Lifetime, Hallmark and Netflix.
I can tell, one of everybody favourite movies to watch yearly is Home Alone (It can never get old for me). I also enjoy “The Last Holiday” starring Queen Latifah, “The Holiday” starring Nancy Meyers, “Die Hard” & “While You Were Sleeping”.
What are the movies do you look forward to watching every Christmas?
 Roundup Of 2020: What Happened This Year?
2020 is almost over.
What lessons did you learn this year? –  I learnt this is not the year to get everything you want. This is the year to appreciate everything you have.
People will do you wrong behind your back but guess what? – We are all lowkey fighting different battles.
 How to Find Gifts for Everyone on A Tight Budget?
We have so many people to buy gifts for. parents, siblings, friends, significant others. Okay, we probably don’t get gifts to all of them, but my point is, that it’s difficult to find gifts sometimes especially if you know some of them already have everything they need.
Since Black Friday is almost a month apart from Christmas, I would recommend everyone trying to shop during that time. Big sales and major discounts are given. If not, usually most stores do have Christmas sales also; therefore, you will definitely have to take advantage of that.
If you want to find gifts for everyone – even when you don’t have a lot of money to spend – what tips do you follow? Share your knowledge with the rest of us!
 Why Do You Love Winter?
So many things to write. I would definitely start with Christmas, but there are more reasons:
New Year – New beginnings (A blog on this will be coming up shortly)
Holidays – I get a few days off. Especially the fact that I am in school, to get two weeks break, is just breathtaking. To be a single mom, working and going to school, IS A TASK. Hence, why I love holidays. Lol.
Gifts – So many gifts to receive, but also to give!
Snow – Well, if you live somewhere that snows. Seeing snows on trees are so beautiful.
Blanket Snuggling – You can’t usually do that in summer (Unless you are in an air conditioner room), so you have to take advantage of winter.
 That’s it! We’re done with Christmas blog post ideas!
 So… what do you think about these ideas? Go ahead and let me know in the comments below!
 Any suggestions are always welcome; tell me about topics you’d like me to write on.
 See you next time!
Seventeen in Toronto Fan Account - Diamond Edge 8/25/2017
Hello! ( ´ ▽ ` )ノ These are the parts of the Diamond Edge concert in Toronto that stood out the most to me (with some help from @observetheview because I don’t know all the members yet).
Right before the show we went to a Korean restaurant called Chimac and we got boneless chicken with a few dipping sauces (to quote @observetheview “great fucking chicken”), but the important part is that we bought a bottle of green grape soju and I was drunk after 1.5 shots and we ended up finishing the whole thing lmao
As a result I was still buzzed/drunk when we got to Massey Hall and I couldn’t remember where the tickets were saved to on my phone so I panicked a little and I couldn’t seem to understand where to line up xD
The doors opened an hour before the show started and they played various music videos quietly on a loop on the big screen (all mvs but Don’t Wanna Cry)
View from our seats:
Tumblr media
Then the mv for Don’t Wanna Cry came on the screen and the music turned up and everyone freaked tf out and stood up
They filed onto the stage and opened with Pretty U, Beautiful (everyone held up the fan project banners) and Adore U
Their first outfit was brightly coloured suits and everyone wore different colours
They looked fine af
They looked really surprised/happy when they saw us dancing along to the “agginda” part in Adore U
Then they had their first ment
Jeonghan and Wonwoo were acting cute
They each introduced themselves basically with variations of the same thing “hi” + Name
The8 said all his ments in English!
Woozi was quiet as usual, and Seungkwan was talkative as usual
Woozi was so cute just standing there with his fluffy hair :3
I forget which ment it was but they said they were surprised by how many fans were at the airport to greet them
They also weren’t expecting so many people to be at the concert
They had quite a few interactions with us such as
“I say ____, you say ____”
getting us to jump and clap our arms during songs
Hoshi trying to get us to dab with him (he dabbed a lot…)
teaching us a thumb dance move for Chuck (Chuck Chuck brrr Chuck!)
Someone yelled S.Coups and he waved in their direction and then everyone in that area screamed/freaked out
One VCR had predebut pics of all of them
The other VCRs were aesthetic af
Dino and S.Coups had a ment together and each did a freestyle dance
Before Dino did his he said “any song will do”
Both freestyle dances were good
Very Nice, Boom Boom, Mansae, OMG, Highlight, and Rock were all lit af
Chuck was the most lit imo, they had tons of lights and strobe lights and it was basically a rave
The hip hop unit performances were so good
Vernon climbed up my bias list
He was the hype master/mood maker tbh
They wore school outfits for Mansae and Boom Boom
They jumped off of chairs for Mansae and I was like BE CAREFUL GAH
They were so rude and opened their shirts/motioned opening their shirts during Boom Boom
The8 and Hoshi were both really good dancers (Hoshi drew my attention a lot)
Crazy in Love was super sexy, like classy af sexy
BUTTS AND HIP THRUSTS SWEET JESUS
They all had pretty nice butts
Woozi’s cute tush just chilling in those black pants 👀
Also he’s really short compared to the other members
But still taller than me  (ง •̀_•́)ง
I think he saw my sign?
Yes I made a sign for him and I love him but I couldn’t look him in the face :S any time he looked in my direction I’d look at someone else instead alslkdjgjd  *runs away* sign what sign
Tumblr media
@observetheview said he stopped and stared at it for a minute
I think I was holding my sign upside down at one point so maybe that’s why lmao
I think I saw other members noticing my sign
Woozi didn’t perform Simple :( he doesn’t love me
Mingyu’s armpit hair, couldn’t look away (@observetheview input)
Someone spanked someone else’s ass as they walked across the stage
During one of the ments Seungkwan belted out the chorus to Adele’s Hello and it was fucking amazing like my ears have been blessed 10/10 would recommend
His English was really good, he messed up a bit on one line but corrected himself
During the same ment Dino did a sexy dance to Michael Jackson (Billie Jean I think?) and S.Coups(?) tried to stop him
During one of the ments Hoshi said he went for a walk in Toronto and the weather was really nice and that “the sky was high(?)” but that it was better together with us
Also during one of the ments Seungkwan said we didn’t have to shout every time they said something xD
“We prepared something special just for Toronto” then they turned their backs to us and did aegyo when they spun around
Mingyu wore plaid pants
My favourite outfit was their sparkly red shirts and black pants
The vocal unit sang a song with a Halloween-ish background on the screen and had a throne, and mic stands with red fabric that Woozi and Jeonghan used :O
Woozi winked a few times during the performances (@observetheview‘s input, I didn’t see)
Jun and The8 performed My I with this long elastic ribbon and it was really good
Wonwoo wore red silk gloves at one point
In general the choreo was really good, their dancing was on point
I was a little worried they wouldn’t all fit on the Massey Hall stage but they made it work
They said it was their first time coming to Toronto and they were surprised they had so many fans so far away from South Korea
And that there were beautiful people here
Other songs they perormed were Swimming Fool, Still Lonely, Check In, Habit
Then Vernon said “Bad news guys, this is going to be our last song for real”
Me:
Tumblr media
And when we all whined sadly they made fun of us xD
Then Vernon dramatically turned around and said “I Don’t Wanna Cry” and everyone screamed
So they performed Don’t Wanna Cry
It had sort of a remix intro where the beginning was extended while some of them danced
After the song they left the stage
And we naturally started chanting “Seventeen! Seventeen!” for an encore
Our chant was pretty weak tbh there ended up being two Seventeen chants being shouted out of sync xD
After enough shouting they started a VCR
It was a sappy, sickeningly sweet letter they each wrote to carats
They said things like “To me carats are: oxygen, friends, motivation, energy… 10 fingers (Hoshi what??)
I can’t remember the exact order of what happened next, but they performed Shining Diamond (it was lit af), gave a final ment, and performed Healing
Also during the encore I noticed some of the lights on my sign were broken lol so I turned them all off
They took a picture with all of us
During the final ment they went “let’s go one by one and talk about our experience of the concert” and I thought they were joking but then they actually went one by one and said something
The amount of fanservice was too damn high
They all said sweet things, variations of comments such as “stay healthy” “be happy” “we’ll come back soon and show a better performance”
They made us promise that when they come back to Toronto we’ll come to the concert again, and gave us pinky promise gestures
They said this would be a big memory for them
Me when The8 was doing his final ment and struggling a lil bit with the English:
Tumblr media
They all tickled Woozi during his part of Healing
They had us jumping during Healing and they shot streamers
They wore blue and pink shirts for their encore
They were all really touched by our fan project banners
They said they were really thankful and happy we came to see them
There were also streamers when they gave their final bow
They tried to wave to everyone before leaving
Overall it was an amazing concert and I’m so happy they came!
I honestly danced the entire time I didn’t sit down once
I hope they like the gits and letters we made for them
